Cooking Classes

One of the founding members of the Accademia Italiana della Cuciuna, of which he was president for many years, was our grandfather Piero who also wrote a five volume cookbook dedicated to  newly narried women, with a strong practical sense of everyday cooking. He never saw his book published unfortunately, but his passion was nevertheless transmitted to his family and neighbors of Camporsevoli.

Our dream was thus always to create a space in his memory, dedicated to his love for good food and friendly company, with an easy practical approach to a family style cooking made of fresh ingredients and centered on a strong Tuscan tradition.

With this in mind the Granaio - formerly the estate's granary - was restored maintaining its original wooden beam structure which is echoed by a wooden floor. It's a very versatile and welcoming space, small enough to feel intimate for smaller groups of families and friends but with space to spare in case of larger numbers. The kitchen is modernly appointed, in line with all safety requirements and its adjacent dining room provides extra space for larger classes and the perfect setting to enjoy the meal we will have prepared together.

The open view kitchen is an ample space for lessons and demonstrations for both small and larger groups.

All our cooking experiences are carefully planned and tailored to the needs of each single client: together we will address your likes and dislikes, dietary restrictions, ages of participants (with special attention to the younger members of the group in terms of safety and child friendly menus) and overall mood of the event you have in mind, to then decide on the best menu based not only on your preferences but also on our own suggestions on how to best use your time with us making the most of this experience.

A market tour can be joined with the cooking class, depending on the time you have availalbe and the weekdays you will be visiting with us (not all days have local markets happening). caeeds

It's essential to us that what you learn in Camporsevoli does not remain in Camporsevoli, but is brought back to your own home where you can prepare again and again the same dishes to share with other friends and family.

To sum it up, we are committed to offering a simple, repeatable, authentic experience, sharing our love for Tuscan cooking but also and most importantly the joy of cooking and dining together,  sharing cultures, creating moments and building or consolidating relationships that will be forever engraved in one's memories.
